This entrylevel position offers an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in bicycle mechanics working with cuttingedge electric bikes and contributing to sustainable urban transportation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of bicycles including precise brake adjustments gear tuning tire replacements and motor system maintenance
- Conduct thorough weekly quality inspections to ensure optimal bike performance
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a professional and friendly approach
- Maintain a pristine and wellorganized work environment
- Support inventory management by tracking and stocking bicycle parts and accessories
- Accurately document all service activities using Fernhays specialized software system

Requirements
- Fundamental knowledge of bicycle mechanics with proven ability to assemble and operate bicycles
- Practical experience in brake repair gear adjustments and tire maintenance
- Physical capability to lift objects up to 23 kg and perform diverse physical tasks including bending stooping and reaching
- Basic mathematical skills for managing retail transactions and inventory control
- Valid drivers license
- Willingness to travel within Germany occasionally
- Fluent German language skills (written and spoken)
- Basic English communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience
- Prior sales or customer service background
- Proficiency with power tools
- Comprehensive understanding of ebike systems and components
