About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician L1 to join our team in Santiago Chile. As a Desktop Support Technician L1 you will play a crucial role in providing firstline technical support to our endusers. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues resolving technical problems and ensuring smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware issues such as computer malfunctions printer errors and network connectivity problems.
- Software Support: Assist users with software installation configuration and troubleshooting.
- Incident Resolution: Respond to and resolve user incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Remote Support: Provide remote technical assistance to users.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets.
- User Onboarding: Set up new user accounts and provide initial technical training.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Primary Language: Spanish
- English Language Proficiency: B1 level (intermediate)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10 Windows 11)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Experience with remote support tools (e.g. TeamViewer Remote Desktop)
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
- Familiarity with Active Directory
- 3 years of experience in a desktop support role
