Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Senior Assurance Associate to join our clients growing team. This is a fulltime onsite position designed for a motivated professional with expertise in assurance engagements and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan lead and execute assurance engagements including compilations reviews and audits.
  • Analyze and assess financial statements and internal controls to identify areas of risk and recommend improvements.
  • Supervise train and mentor junior team members providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Handle complex transactions and collaborate with clients on technical matters.
  • Ensure compliance with laws regulations standards and practices particularly GAAP and GAAS.
  • Foster and maintain client relationships ensuring timely and effective resolution of matters.
  • Perform other jobrelated duties as necessary.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of prior experience in public accounting ideally within a small to midsized Accounting/CPA firm working with midsized companies and highnetworth individuals.
  • Proven experience with assurance engagements including compilations reviews and audits.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to articulate complex information effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and analyze problems logically and comprehensively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to present information effectively and respond to client needs.

Preferred Skills:

  • CPA license is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with software programs such as:
    • QuickBooks Desktop and Online
    • Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
    • Caseware
    • Datasnipper

Additional Details:

  • Location: Onsite 5 days per week.
  • Relocation Assistance: Limited assistance available.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
