Greer Financial Services has a strategic business partner in the Greater Houston area that is in need of an experienced data engineer leader to drive data strategy and insights across the organization. This role combines technical leadership team development and strategic partnership with executives to enable datadriven decision making.
Position Overview:
Lead a dynamic team responsible for enterprise data architecture analytics solutions and insights delivery to support strategic initiatives. Partner with executive stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver highimpact data solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
Drive the strategic roadmap for enterprise analytics and data engineering initiatives
Lead and mentor a team of analysts data engineers and visualization specialists
Design and oversee implementation of data architecture and ETL processes
Manage relationships with stakeholders to align analytics delivery with business objectives
Ensure data quality governance and security standards
Drive adoption of selfservice analytics tools and best practices
Required Qualifications:
5 years leadership experience in analytics/data engineering
7 years enterprise data analytics experience in healthcare
Strong data engineering background including ETL data modeling and warehouse architecture
Expertise in SQL data visualization tools (Tableau preferred) and analytics platforms
Track record of implementing enterprisescale data solutions
Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Analytics or related field
Technical Skills:
Data visualization: Tableau PowerBI or similar tools
Databases: SQL Oracle Snowflake
ETL/Data Engineering tools
Statistical analysis tools (R Python SAS)
Healthcare data systems experience
