Job Description
Our client an NGO/NPO is a missiondriven organization dedicated to transforming education by ensuring equitable access to innovative and inclusive learning opportunities. Through strategic programs in STEM education teacher training and lowcost learning solutions theyre empowering communities and inspiring change
The role of a Country Foundation & Grant Manager will provide visionary leadership to for the organization while taking direct responsibility for securing and managing grants. This dual role requires an individual who is equally skilled at organizational strategy and detailed grant management. The Country Foundation & Grant Manager will lead all operations foster strategic partnerships and ensure the financial sustainability of the organization while actively identifying funding opportunities preparing proposals and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Execute a strategic vision aligned with the Foundation s mission and goals.
- Foster innovation and a resultsdriven culture within the organization.
- Represent the Foundation to stakeholders government bodies and the community.
Grant Management
- Identify apply for and manage grants to secure funding for programs and operations.
- Build relationships with donors grantors and funding agencies.
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements including reporting and financial tracking.
- Collaborate with program teams to align grant objectives with organizational goals.
Operational and Financial Oversight:
- Oversee daytoday operations ensuring efficient program delivery.
- Manage budgets allocate resources and ensure financial accountability.
- Drive fundraising efforts beyond grants including donor relations and sponsorships.
Program Development and Execution:
- Oversee the design and implementation of educational programs including STEM and teacher training initiatives.
- Monitor program impact and ensure alignment with community needs.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit mentor and retain highperforming team members.
- Cultivate a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Establish clear performance metrics and accountability systems for all staff.
Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and sustain relationships with government entities private sector partners and other stakeholders.
- Advocate for policies that promote equitable and innovative education.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for the Foundation to enhance its visibility and reputation.
Requirements
- 57 years of proven leadership experience with a strong track record in grant writing and management.
- Deep understanding of the education sector STEM and technologydriven solutions.
- Experience in fundraising donor engagement and financial management.
- Bachelor s degree required; advanced degree in education business or a related field is an advantage.
- Excellent communication negotiation and organizational skills.
