Job Description
This Material Handler supports the Shipping & Receiving Department by safely efficiently and accurately moving and documenting product logistics within the department via electric forklift operation and the use of other powered equipment. This is a 1st shift position Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Qualifications :
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming loads
- Prepare trailer for unloading
- Inspect trailer and load (continue to observe for damage throughout process)
- Unload trailer and ensure separation of items
- Provide counts and location to receiving clerk
- Prepare loads for further processing
- Move loads to racks when receipt complete
- Process Shipments
- Pick orders
- Verify orders
- Prepare orders for shipment
- Prepare trailers for loading
- Inspect trailer
- Load trailers
- Other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 years of reach truck and/or forklift operation in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read write and comprehend required documentation
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
