Job Description
The Role
As a Technical Product Manager at Zenjob you will be a key player in driving the development of our platform capabilities. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking technical understanding and handson execution. Working at the intersection of Platform Teams and StreamAligned Teams you will play a crucial role in ensuring our core infrastructure staffing system and supporting tools are built for scalability efficiency and high performance.
This role is designed for a TPM with a strong engineering background or someone who is extremely comfortable engaging in deep technical discussions with engineers. Youll act as the strategic link between platform and product ensuring alignment with Zenjobs overall strategy while driving technical clarity and excellence. In this role youll champion Team Topology principles supporting crossfunctional collaboration and enabling streamaligned teams to work autonomously with minimal friction.
What youll be doing
- Develop a deep understanding of the needs of streamaligned teams and the broader business objectives. Youll bridge technical requirements with business outcomes ensuring that platform initiatives enable teams to work more efficiently and deliver impactful results.
- Use your gained knowledge to define team priorities success metrics and product goals ensuring they are aligned with Zenjobs overall strategy. Youll take ownership of the platform roadmap setting clear objectives that balance shortterm delivery with longterm scalability.
- Oversee the smooth and efficient golive of new platform features ensuring minimal disruption to streamaligned teams.
- Work closely with your colleagues from Product Engineering Design and Data providing feedback input and critical reviews of datadriven initiatives. Your collaboration will ensure that platform capabilities are informed by data insights and that technical decisions are supported by sound analysis.
- Champion technical best practices within the platform team supporting efforts to improve developer experience reduce technical debt and drive reusability. Youll ensure platform components are designed for scale performance and maintainability.
What youll bring
- A strong understanding of technical platforms gained through a degree in Software Engineering Computer Engineering or a related technical field OR through several years of experience as a Technical Product Manager working on platform development technical infrastructure or developer tools. Experience as a developer or engineering lead is a strong plus.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability you take responsibility for driving initiatives from start to finish even when faced with ambiguity. You can work independently prioritize effectively and consistently deliver results that drive business impact.
- Fluency in English is required as it is the primary language of our global crossfunctional teams. You have the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- German language skills are a plus.
