Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the delivery of quality healthcare at a facility in Kaufman County Texas. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of simple laboratory procedures under the supervision of an ASCPregistered medical technologist.

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent
Oneyear of fulltime phlebotomy work preferred but not required
Possess valid Texas driver s license
Must comply with facility and agency immunization requirements
Must submit to facility and agency required drug test and required fingerprinting
Must complete facility and agency required training
Responsibilities:
Perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages.
Perform computer data entry.
Process and package specimens for transport to reference lab.
Comply with facility procedures to meet accrediting standards including Joint Commission CMS TSH policies and relevant agency Standards Rules and Directives.
