Job Description
Upskills is a global consulting firm with a particular focus on IT solutions for financial organizations and Capital Market industry. We provide expert financial software consulting for investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific Middle East and Europe regions. With a strong front to back expertise of the cash securities and derivatives markets coupled with an indepth knowledge of financial markets technologies.
Upskills is seeking Murex Integration Consultant to work on a customer facing role to drive one of our clients Murex activities and projects in Paris France with the following responsibilities:
- Provide production support and participate in implementation projects in Murex Datamart/ Interface Streams
- Develop expertise and participate in the build of Murex Interface/ Reporting solutions
- Provide technical support to customers ensuring successful follow up of issues from notification to resolution and validation
- Participation in implementation projects delivery of interfaces clearing systems customers internal systems (e.g. core banking) and trade migrations
- Maintain good understanding and knowledge of the best practices
- Reporting issues and suggestions to the management
- Ensures customer satisfaction and followup on the interfacing related activities
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelors Degree preferably from Computer Engineering Financial Engineering Business Analysis or relevant discipline.
- Min 3 years of Murex experience on Datamart and Interface
- Familiar with Java Programming Language
- Familiar with SQL XML Unix
- Have experience with Operating Systems: Linux Windows
- Strong proficiency with Datamart Reports Development Batch of Feeders/ extractions or Interface MxML Interface Workflow
- Experience in the design build configuration and testing of Reports/ Interface
- Excellent communication skills able to handle multiple projects priorities and manage business expectations
- Must be customer driven have the ability to work within a team environment and be focused on providing a high quality of service to the customer.
- Strong and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills.

Education
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Financial Engineering or relevant discipline.
