We are seeking an Office Manager/Accounting Assistant for a growing manufacturing company in Joplin. This will be a temp to hire position that offers weekly pay and benefits. Qualified candidates must have a degree in Accounting be professional in appearance and have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Pay $2224/hr
As the Office Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
- Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors and answer and direct phone calls
- Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries and manage outgoing mail
- Assist with payroll processing for salary and hourly employees
- Process and monitor accounts payable to include credit card receipts
- Assist with Investor relations
- Support HR
- Support all accounting functions
- Assist Quality Control and Engineering Staff
What We Require:
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- 25 years of work experience in an accounting administrative/office management role
- Government accounting a plus
- Must have exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Must be a selfstarter and driven
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problemsolving skills and analytical abilities
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Word Excel.
- Proficient with accounting software
