What you will be doing:
- Lead and manage audit engagements for Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC) clients ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Oversee and review audit work papers financial statements and related reports.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships acting as a trusted advisor in financial matters.
- Understand clients business objectives and provide insights to improve financial performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to audit teams ensuring the delivery of highquality services.
- Collaborate with other partners and managers to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Identify and assess risks associated with AEC engagements developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards regulatory requirements and firm policies.
- Actively participate in business development activities including client acquisition and relationship building.
- Identify opportunities for expanding services to existing clients and pursuing new business opportunities within the AEC group.
- Maintain a commitment to quality and excellence in audit services.
- Conduct reviews of audit work papers and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to professional standards.
Experience you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- CPA
- 12 years of extensive experience in auditing with a focus on Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC) clients.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously.
