Job Description
As a Principal Engineer & Team Lead you ll play a pivotal role in shaping our POS solutions combining handson development with leadership. Leveraging your expertise in cloudbased frontend and backend development you ll define technical strategies mentor a talented team and implement best practices to ensure scalable robust and highquality applications that meet dynamic customer demands.
Shift: Monday to Friday 06:00 AM 03:00 PM
Work Setup: Hybrid/Remote (Flexible Work Arrangement)
Salary: PHP 140000 PHP 240000

- Design develop and deploy POS applications using Java Spring and Angular frameworks ensuring quality scalability and maintainability.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers setting goals managing priorities and fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product owners architects and stakeholders across teams in the Philippines and Australia to define requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Drive the adoption of cloudnative architecture on the Google Cloud Platform implement robust CI/CD practices and integrate monitoring and automated deployment tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Establish and optimize Agile workflows code review standards and testing processes to improve team efficiency and code quality.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in coding architecture and security to ensure longterm maintainability of solutions.
- Research and introduce emerging technologies and methodologies to continuously enhance the technology stack.
- Build and sustain a collaborative and innovative engineering culture promoting knowledge sharing and teamwork across geographies.
Requirements
The Expertise We Value
- 8 years of experience in software development with expertise in Java Spring and Angular.
- 3 years of experience in a senior or principal engineering role with team leadership responsibilities preferably in the POS or similar software domain.
- Product development experience including endtoend involvement from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Proven experience designing and implementing highperformance scalable cloud and software solutions.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills with experience collaborating and managing geographically distributed teams.
- Solid background in agile and scrumbased development practices.
