About the Company:
Our client is a Crown corporation providing specialized and personalized financial services to farming operations. Our client offers financing insurance software learning programs and other business services to producers agribusiness owners and agrifood entrepreneurs across the country.
Responsibilities:
Design usercentered products and services addressing the full spectrum of users touchpoints motivations and needs.
Provide UX support during design sprints including consulting and delivering low to midfidelity wireframes and prototypes tailored to project requirements.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders and developers to ensure designs are implemented efficiently meeting both user and business needs with minimal iteration.
Deliver consistent wellcrafted and userfriendly UI designs for web and mobile applications.
Create detailed wireframes prototypes and other design artifacts to represent ideal or current user experiences for customers and employees.
Ensure all designs meet digital accessibility standards including creating compliant interfaces conducting QA and performing holistic audits to support companywide accessibility initiatives.
Plan and conduct user research sessions (e.g. usability testing interviews) to uncover insights and translate findings into actionable design recommendations.
Requirements:
Required Experience:
8 years of UX/UI design experience preferably for both web and mobile platforms with a portfolio showcasing:
Data entry interface designs for web and mobile applications.
Clear communication of design requirements and decisions to product stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
Proficiency in Figma with strong skills in prototyping and collaborative design workflows.
Proven experience working closely with developers to ensure effective implementation of designs including providing quickturnaround solutions during sprints.
Experience designing enterpriselevel products preferably within the financial sector.
Familiarity with contributing to or managing a design System to ensure consistency across applications.
Expertise in designing accessible interfaces and conducting accessibility audits.
Ability to plan and conduct user research (e.g. usability testing interviews surveys) analyze findings and translate insights into actionable improvements.
Familiarity with Canadian agriculture or experience with agricultural software.
Experience using Jira for task tracking.
Knowledge of Scrum or Agile methodologies with experience delivering rapid iterative designs under tight deadlines.

Specific Project Requirements: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated experience in SQL programming is required. Demonstrated experience in ETL is required. Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in current and future state data mapping. Carry out data validation and identify and resolve discrepancies (format, content, values). Work with business team members on troubleshooting Top Skills Required: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Well-rounded experience in the whole data lifecycle management and hands-on experience in the following data management domains: dimensional and relational data modeling, data quality, SQL programming (minimum 5 years), ETL development, metadata management and master data management, and business intelligence. Experience with reverse engineering the source to target mapping to gain data insights Experience refactoring existing SQL code to new/alternate data sources. Other Skills Required: Experience with Azure Data Platform technologies or other public cloud offerings Programming experience: SQL Experience with Databricks Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, time management, priority planning and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and interpret requirements and design documents Ability to write and maintain documentation Demonstrated experience working with key business stakeholders in areas of Finance, Risk Management and Insurance Assets: Experience working in an Agile environment/team Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French) Greater than 5 years of SQL development and refactoring existing SQL
