Job Description
- Compares and verifies purchase orders against forecasted raw material components and related requirements to ensure adequate supplies are ordered for production.
- Reviews and analyzes statistical data to determine buying trends/volumes and to establish price objectives and/or opportunities.
- Reviews comparison charts proposals negotiates prices selects or recommends suppliers with respect to cost quality and delivery for nonstandard or larger than normal orders.
- Manage and maintain inventory.
- Inventories goods receives and identify discrepancies.
- Check schedule delivery dates and make contact with suppliers about late deliveries.
- Escalates issued and notifies appropriate personnel.
- Checks with warehouse and production regarding availability and movement of materials to detect shortages or overages.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and three (3) years of experience in related area
- Bilingual (Spanish/English Spoken/Written)
