Position Description:
You will be the firstline leader to support team members within your area/zone.
You will coordinate daytoday activities to maintain scheduled production requirements and ensure your teams success.
The hours for this position are 2:30 pm to 1:00 am MondayThursday with the potential of overtime on Fridays.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Desires to eliminate waste and to develop team member skills to improve lean operations.
- Ensure that employees are properly trained by their Team Leader or other designated trainer in the areas of safety quality equipment operationn and 5S
- Interface with technical staff to ensure proper support
- Establish annual goals and objectives that support the attainment of operating metrics
- Work to improve processes and reduce inventories and work in progress continuously
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding employee relations issues
- Interface with Union Stewards in contract and discipline issues
Qualifications Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Manufacturing Engineering or Operations is preferred.
- Must Have 5 to 8 years of Manufacturing Production and Assembly line supervisory experience.
- Must have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a medium/high volume fastpaced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with mechanical and hydraulic press operations.
- A basic understanding of die setup and maintenance would be beneficial.
- A basic understanding of process control production scheduling Kaizen Kanban and Lean manufacturing is preferred.
- Previous Assembly line supervision experience would be preferred.
- Must be selfdriven and ambitious with proven leadership capabilities including providing coaching mentoring and supervision within a team environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills including encouraging team members to think proactively and create solutions.
- Proven history of ability to lead with a servant leadership mindset.

- Experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel).
- Previous professional internshipp or coop experience will be taken into consideration as relevant experience.
