TVS SCS is actively looking for an expert Data Center Engineer PN02 to join its team. The company employs experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing worldclass IT solutions.

Tasks

Data Center Engineer PN02 will provide daily localremote server support receive incoming calls answer questions troubleshoot problems and document steps taken to resolve hardware software and application issues in a ticketing system. The candidate will also be expected to facilitate resolution of customer calls and engage with their supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT support center. The Data Center Engineer PN02 provides Break&Fix fault diagnosis and resolution services.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of IT support experience on Data Centre.

Responsibilities and functions of the position

DC Hands & Feet: Operations and management of Datacentre (Hosted service)

Experience in Datacentre Infrastructure management

Datacentre full life cycle from commissioning to decommissioning maintenance monitoring and transformation

Operational Reviews & Audits

Manage and maintain Data Centre asset inventory

Datacentre Management

Datacentre Site Monitoring

Planned & Predictive Maintenance

Remote Service

Datacentre Emergency Response

Vendor Management

SLA and KPI Management

Reporting Via Dashboard & PowerPoint

Take Ownership of Issues and Problemsolving End to End

Execute daily operations activities within their perspective towers as required

Work with IT teams on projects related to Data Centre infrastructure

Transition/Transformation/Decommissioning/Projects

Change Control (CAB) Attendance & Stakeholder

Demand and Capacity Management

Storage/SAN Switches/Tape Library/Network devices

Fluent English and Italian Language

Requirements

Minimum qualifications and skills required of the candidate
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in the IT sector. Windows Server VMWare Microsoft Active Directory MS HyperV BackUp Storage and Tape Library
2. Proven analytical skills excellent communication interpersonal and customer service skills.
3. Adaptable and flexible willing where necessary to work out of hours when required for projects or emergency support.
4. Knowledge of the Italian and English languages both colloquial and technical for use on a daily basis.
