Job Description
Location: Haliburton (Partnering Retirement Homes)
Pay Rate: $20.40 CAD per hour
Benefits:
- Free overnight stay for shifts when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care aligned with residents individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and manage residents medication routines according to established protocols.
- Monitor and assess residents health promptly reporting changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide guidance and support to residents and their families regarding care plans and health management.
- Oversee and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
- Maintain professionalism while managing tasks such as light housekeeping and emotional support.
- Implement Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) measures and proper PPE usage.
- Document nursing interventions and resident progress accurately and on time.
- Lead and collaborate with healthcare staff to promote a safe and respectful environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid RN certification.
- Physically capable of performing nursing duties including lifting and transferring residents safely.
- Availability for flexible shifts in a 24/7 operation including weekends and statutory holidays.
- Excellent criticalthinking and problemsolving skills to adapt to dynamic care needs.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to support team operations and resident care.
- Knowledge of healthcare technology for documentation and reporting.
- Current CPR First Aid and any other relevant certifications.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Working Conditions
- Every second weekend and statutory holiday availability required.
- Physical activities such as standing walking lifting and transferring residents.
- Occasional travel to partnering retirement homes in Halliburton.
- Potential for overtime!
