Call Response Time: 20 min
Patient Volume: 510; 36 (new IP consults)
Daily Procedures: 58
Phone Consults: 36
Physician in Practice: GI Anesthesiologist
Support Staff: 1 APPs 2 RNs 1 MA
Required Procedures:
Upper GI endoscopy: with Biopsy Foreign Body Removal Fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser) Injection of Varices ECRP
Lower GI Endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy: Flexible & Rigid
Colonoscopy: With Biopsy & Excision of Polyp
Duties/Responsibilities:
Communicate biopsy results for all procedures to the patient directly or routed through the designated clinic MA.
Coordinate additional steps to include referrals followups and additional imaging as may be necessary.
Trauma Level: III
EMR: Epic
Temporary Privileges available: Yes
Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
Active WA License or IMLC
BC/BE
ACLS
Candidates who perform ECRP (highly preferred)
