Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are central to all we do.

We are currently seeking a skilled Intellectual Disability Staff Nurse to join our Nursing Team who will contribute to delivering high standards of care to our residents in Co Dublin.
  • 12 hour shift
Responsibilities
  • To provide efficient and effective care to residents on a personcentered basis
  • Creating customised treatment programs and carrying out thorough health evaluations.
  • Rewarding work that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Providing support with activities of daily living including personal care and hygiene.
  • Monitoring and managing the physical and mental health needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including physicians therapists and social workers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Providing education and training to individuals families and caregivers on health management and wellness strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate medical records and documentation



Requirements

  • Qualifications as a registered nurse and valid NMBI registration
  • It is desirable if you have specialised training or expertise in nursing for intellectual disabilities.
  • A patientcentered compassionate approach to treatment.
  • Strong clinical and assessment abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • The capacity to function well in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Dedication to maintaining moral principles and encouraging support for those with intellectual disability.
