Job Description

We re seeking a motivated and resultsdriven Senior Bookkeeper Specialist to join our team.

We re seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team working remotely to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our clients financial records.

The Senior Bookkeeper is a critical role responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping operations for our clients. This includes maintaining precise financial records reconciling accounts preparing detailed financial statements and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position offers the flexibility of working from home a competitive hourly pay of $24.50 and the opportunity to grow within a dynamic clientfocused environment.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records for assigned clients.
  • Reconcile bank accounts credit cards and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate detailed financial reports including balance sheets profit and loss statements and cash flow summaries.
  • Ensure proper documentation and processing of payroll transactions as needed.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and best practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by answering bookkeepingrelated queries and providing proactive financial insights.
  • Utilize bookkeeping software and tools to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in training junior bookkeepers ensuring adherence to company standards and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferably in a professional services setting.
  • Associate degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; bachelor s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for collaborating with clients and team members.
  • Bookkeeping or accounting certifications (e.g. Certified Bookkeeper QuickBooks Certification) are a plus.
