The Vice President Major Project actively participates in the development of major project proposals and takes full responsibility for the success of the projects (Design construction projects and/or largescale fixedprice construction projects) under his direction by directing all project operations having full responsibility for business leadership and achieving the strategic objectives of operational excellence and growth while prioritizing our human capital.
He will be part of the proposal team and will play a key role in obtaining contracts for EBC and/or joint ventures in which EBC will participate. He will supervise the operation of the projects ensure strong cohesion and good communication with the project management team maintain business relations with internal and external partners as well as clients in order to meet and exceed project performance indicators.

REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in civil engineering or any other engineering degree related to construction and project management;
Previous civil experience specifically in heavy civil projects with clients such as Metrolinx Infrastructure Ontario OPG and City of Toronto;
Minimum 15 years of experience in construction and project management;
Minimum 10 years of experience in major construction projects;
Strong knowledge of infrastructure such as: Infrastructures grade separation bridges dams storm water management pond inwater work trackwork and grading;
A proven track record of project success and team leadership;
Good knowledge of geology and geotechnical;.
Strong experience delivering large scale projects within a partnership environment;
Strong experience with alternative delivery mode projects (Design Build P3);
Strong knowledge of financial management as well as building codes and associated legislation;
Good computer skills and previous experience with scheduling software;
Bilingual (French and English) is an asset;
Frequent travel is required.
