Job Description
Baxterstorey is seeking a dedicated and versatile General Assistant to join our team in StocktononTees United Kingdom. As a General Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Assist in various areas of our food service operations including food preparation serving and cleaning
- Provide excellent customer service addressing queries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment adhering to health and safety standards
- Support team members in different departments as needed
- Help with stock management and inventory tasks
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas
- Perform general administrative duties as required
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work atmosphere
Qualifications :
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask efficiently
- Team player with the flexibility to work in various roles as needed
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred
- Food hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the organisation
