Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop civil engineering designs and layouts for power plant facilities including foundations buildings and site infrastructure.
- Perform structural analysis and design of concrete steel and composite structures used in power plants.
- Design and oversee the construction of civil works such as retaining walls access roads drainage systems and water treatment facilities.
- Supervise and manage civil construction activities onsite to ensure they adhere to design specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure timely execution of civil works addressing any challenges that arise during construction.
- Monitor site safety and implement industry standards and regulations.
- Design and oversee the construction of foundations for key power plant equipment such as turbines boilers and transformers.
- Perform soil investigations and geotechnical assessments for designing appropriate foundations.
- Ensure the structural integrity of buildings and plant facilities considering seismic and environmental factors.
- Prepare detailed construction schedules budgets and progress reports
- Coordinate with project managers contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure compliance with local building codes environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of construction works to ensure compliance with design plans codes and quality standards.
- Ensure that civil engineering designs and construction activities minimize environmental impact.
