Job Description:
Orangepeople is seeking a dynamic and skilled Tech Support Specialist to join our team. This midlevel role requires a techsavvy professional with a passion for problemsolving and customer support. The ideal candidate will have experience across a range of technologies including operating systems G Suite administration ticketing tools (Zoho) AWS infrastructure networking and basic web development. Flexibility in working hours is a must to support our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Systems Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows macOS and Linux environments.
- G Suite Administration: Manage and support G Suite accounts user provisioning security settings and issue resolution.
- Zoho Ticketing System Management: Administer and manage the Zoho support system ensuring timely response and resolution of tickets.
- AWS Infrastructure Support: Utilize AWS certifications to monitor manage and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure.
- Networking Support: Diagnose and resolve basic networking issues including LAN/WAN configurations VPN and firewalls.
- Web Development Assistance: Provide basic support for web applications perform troubleshooting and collaborate with developers for issue resolution.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of processes issue resolutions and system configurations.
- Customer Support: Respond to technical queries provide exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 3 years of experience in technical support or IT operations.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Handson experience with G Suite administration and tools.
- Working knowledge of Zoho ticketing systems.
- AWS Certified (at least foundational certification; associatelevel preferred).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g. IP DNS VPNs).
- Exposure to web development technologies (e.g. HTML CSS basic JavaScript).
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly across different time zones as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation tools or scripting (e.g. Python Bash).
- Familiarity with ITIL practices or certifications.
- Knowledge of additional ticketing systems or IT service management tools.
