Job Description
- Ensuring compliance with all aspects of food safety and health and safety
- Washing dishes cutlery glasses and other materials for reuse
- Drying and distributing clean items
- Ensuring a clean and hygienic workspace
- Assisting chefs in cleaning the kitchen at the end of the day
- Ensuring waste is properly separated in the right bins
- Assisting chefs in the kitchen if needed
Qualifications :
- No formal education is required but a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
