Description: We are seeking a detailoriented and strategic IT Vendor Management and Contract Specialist to join our team. This role combines expertise in vendor relationship management contract evaluation financial controls and collaboration with legal and project management offices (PMO). The successful candidate will be instrumental in optimizing IT vendor operations consolidating contracts and ensuring the organization secures the best possible terms in alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contract terms addressing issues as they arise.
Facilitate vendor selection evaluation and negotiation processes.
2. Contract Management:
Evaluate existing IT contracts to identify opportunities for consolidation and cost savings.
Analyze similar contracts to recommend the best terms for the organization.
Partner with legal teams to draft review and negotiate IT contracts ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance requirements.
3. Financial Controls:
Collaborate with finance teams to track vendorrelated expenditures ensuring adherence to budgets.
Identify and implement costsaving measures without compromising service quality.
Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts related to vendor contracts.
4. Project Management Office (PMO) Activities:
Work closely with the PMO to align vendor management strategies with project timelines and objectives.
Support project teams by ensuring timely procurement and delivery of IT services or products.
Assist in risk assessments related to vendor dependencies within projects.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between IT legal finance and other departments to streamline contract and vendorrelated processes.
Provide training or guidance to internal stakeholders on vendor management and contract evaluation best practices.
