Seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist for our practice at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs CA. Enjoy living where most people like to vacation!
Job Description:
- A fulltime position is approximately 7.5 24hour inhouse shifts/month 2190 hours annually
- Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of approximately 5.5 24hourshifts/month 1560 hours annually (still benefit eligible)
- Location is outside the city
- 2 OB Hospitalists inhouse 24/7 never on shift alone
- Responsibilities include delivery attendance OB triage patient evaluation/management surgical assists fetal monitoring and ER coverage
- MFM performs rounds and inpatient consults with high risk patients
- Practice attends about 60 deliveries per month
- 30bed community LevelIII NICU/newborns 23 weeks and above
- Affiliated maternalfetal medicine and neonatology practice support
- 387bed tertiary acute care facility and is the only Level I Trauma Center in Coachella Valley serving more than 8000 square miles of Southeastern California
- Teaching opportunities with fellows residents and medical students.
- This is a permanent fulltime position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
