Position Summary: A renowned group is lseeking an experienced and motivated
Construction Superintendent to lead a largescale
Adaptive Reuse project in an urban setting. The role involves managing the construction of core and shell commercial renovations along with subsequent tenant fitouts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills excellent attention to detail and a proactive problemsolving approach. The group is offering a rate of $120K$130K yearly with a signon bonus.
- Responsibilities Preconstruction:
- Review construction documents for constructability means and methods code compliance permitting building systems and scheduling.
- Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules from design development through substantial completion.

- Construction:
- Oversee all daily site operations ensuring alignment with design budget and schedule.
- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities to maintain compliance with contract requirements specifications and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain twoweek lookahead schedules and update the master CPM schedule using Microsoft Project.
- Manage milestone compliance to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings to proactively identify and resolve challenges.
- Generate and maintain daily reports and logs.
- Schedule supervise and manage selfperform labor crews and material deliveries.
- Lead inspections punch list development and the project closeout process.
- Represent company values and standards in all professional interactions.
- Develop and implement a construction management and logistics plan for efficient and safe operations with minimal urban neighborhood disruption.
Work Environment This is an onsite position that involves active construction site leadership. Candidates must:
- Be physically fit to climb scaffolding stairs and ladders frequently.
- Work in outdoor environments with exposure to moderatetoloud noise levels temperature changes and weather conditions.
- Have strong handeye coordination and fine motor skills for keyboard telephone and documentation tasks.
- Possess strong vision (close distance depth perception) and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications - Experience:
- Proven experience redeveloping brownstone buildings (Type III Construction) with complex structural fa ade restoration and highend condominium fitouts.
- Minimum of five years as a lead superintendent preferably in Boston.
- Experience managing at least three projects as the lead superintendent.
- Certifications & Licenses:
- Massachusetts CSL required.
- Boston ABC license preferred.
- 30Hour OSHA Certification preferred; 10Hour OSHA Certification required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Procore Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project Schedule preferred.
