Role: QA Associate/Analyst
Location: San Antonio TX (Remote)
Duration: 6 months Contract with possibility to extension
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Accenture and TimeClocks Plus vendor resources to conduct testing activities
- Act as primary point of contact for testing activities as related to Time Clocks Plus and the integration with Workday
- Provide input on test plans including time estimates and criteria for acceptance for both Time Clocks Plus and the integration with Workday
- Collaborate with vendors and customers to develop test scenarios and test scripts
- Work with users to ensure that solutions meet business requirements; validate/update test scenarios and test cases to ensure business alignment
- Execute Unit tests and document software and integration defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers and vendors
- Identify analyze and document problems with program function output online screen or content
- Lead customer confirmation walkthroughs; report issues
- Provide feedback and recommendations to vendor resources on software usability and functionality
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
- Adhere to standards methods or procedures to determine product quality and golive readiness
- Assist Test Team PM in monitoring estimated time to complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks
- Meet time estimates for assigned tasks
- Communicate accurate and useful status updates
- Communicate effectively with team members and vendors
- Follow quality standards
- Serves as subject matter expert individually motivated and operating with a sense of urgency and personal accountability
- Performs other related duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree in business information systems information technology or a related field and 5 years testing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have strong planning organizational problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
- Must have excellent time management skills including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers stakeholders County employees Elected/Appointed Officials outside organizations and agencies vendors and the public.
- Strong PC skills; proficient in Microsoft Outlook Excel Word and PowerPoint and Teams and testing tools
- Knowledge of information technology industry and a thorough understanding of testing methodologies.
- Must secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance.
- Must clear preemployment drug screen test.
- May be required to work more than 40 hours a week.
- May be required to work weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday and Time Clocks Plus implementation experience.
- Understanding of timekeeping concepts
- Government experience
- IT Project testing experience
