Job Title: Bell Clerk (PartTime)
Hourly Rate: $25.09
Taking care of the big things and the little things is what we do. As a Bell Clerk multitasking skills and aloha spirit will be wellutilized as you coordinate the activities of our Arrival Team and provide engaging service to our guests.
What you will be doing:
- Coordinate activities of the Arrival Team
- Answer all incoming calls and accurately transfer callers to the appropriate extensions according to the resorts standards
- Communicate internal and external guest requests via applicable resort software
- Maintain accurate records of all internal and external guest requests and followup with the necessary department and/or guests in the predetermined time frame
- Assist Front Office with administrative duties as required
- Check work stations for necessary equipment and set up and replenish as needed
- Assist in providing parking options
- Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up: water lei towels etc. as needed
- Maintaining communication of up to date accurate information between guests staff management and our partners on a daily basis
- Able to share information about the resort and activities island activities restaurants and other information as it pertains to guests
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum of one year experience in the Hotel Industry preferably in a high guest contact role
- Service focused personality is essential; customer related experience an asset
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
- Must be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority both internally and externally
- Must possess basic computational ability
- Must possess computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word Excel and email functions
- Must be able to multitask and be detailoriented in a fast paced high volume environment
- Must have ability to work independently and to prioritize or seek clarification in prioritizing work assignments
Licenses or Certificates
- Must have and be able to maintain a valid Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
Education
- High School diploma and/or vocational training
- A Degree in Hotel/Hospitality or Tourism is an asset
