Job Description
Do you have a passion for nurturing young minds and creating a positive engaging environment for children to thrive Your Daycare Name is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Assistant Teacher to join our growing team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing ageappropriate activities.
- Supervise and engage with children to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
- Foster a warm welcoming environment that encourages social emotional and educational development.
- Support daily routines such as meals naps and toileting with patience and care.
- Communicate effectively with parents guardians and staff about the children s progress and needs.
- Help maintain a clean organized and safe classroom environment.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; course work in early childhood education is a plus.
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare preschool or similar setting is required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A positive attitude patience and a passion for working with children.
