Job Description
Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science (in partnership with Kings College School Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School) is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Secondary English (with possibility of additional responsibilities) to join a learning community that integrates the best of international and Chinese education.

We are searching for an individual with a demonstrated history of student progress with second language learners including achievement in IGCSE and/or IB DP English. Even more importantly they must be passionate and skilled in teaching the critical thinking and communication skills necessary for future success.
We are looking for a highly organized futureoriented educator capable of teaching a variety of English language courses who is comfortable with datadriven classroom and becoming an equal partner within a curriculum team to drive results.

Background
Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science was founded with the strong support of the Wuxi local government through a partnership between two worldleading schools Nanjing Foreign Language School China and King s College School Wimbledon UK all of whom aimed to build a school of the future which focuses on providing wellrounded education. It opened in September 2018 with 750 pupils and has a current enrollment of just under 2000 students. This remarkable growth is testament to the quality of the school its exciting vision and the support of partners parents and the wider community.

Requirements
About you
- Bachelor s degree; Master s degree preferred
- Strong academic background e.g. one of the following:
- CELTA/DELTA
- Language degree AND formal EAL qualification
- Relevant degree
- CELTA/DELTA
- Excited about teaching EAL learners throughout the agerange we offer (G912)
- 2 years of good quality postqualification experience including IGCSE EAL
- Able to demonstrate high level of student progress for a wide range of EAL learners
- Able to demonstrate a rigorous approach to planning and assessment
- Ability to collaborate establish rapport and communicate in a Dual Language Immersion environment/multicultural contexts
- Skills in using data to inform teaching and learning
A genuine interest in teaching and professional development Open-minded, patient, an adventurous spirit and professional flexibility 3 years or* above relevant teaching experiences Bachelor's degree from an accredited university Native English speaker TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL certificate Teachers license obtained from English native speaking countries is preferred Teaching experiences in English native speaking countries is preferred
