Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detailoriented Catering Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Chennai India. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for driving catering sales managing client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of events.

  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
  • Conduct site inspections and create tailored proposals for prospective clients
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing within established parameters
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to design creative and costeffective menu options
  • Manage the entire event process from initial inquiry to postevent followup
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless event execution
  • Conduct preevent meetings and maintain onsite presence during events
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Prepare and present sales reports forecasts and performance metrics
  • Actively participate in industry networking events and trade shows
  • Mentor and support junior team members to foster a collaborative work environment

Qualifications :

  • Diploma in Tourism Hospitality Management or Events Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in group catering and conference sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and relationshipbuilding abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with event planning software
  • Indepth knowledge of the catering and event management industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Customerfocused mindset with attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
