About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Matron / Staff Nurse with dual qualifications (RN/RM) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and a strong track record in delivering exceptional patient care. In this role you will provide leadership and clinical expertise while promoting health and wellbeing within a collaborative patientcentered environment. You will be responsible for delivering highquality nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices ensuring patient safety comfort and optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage nursing teams to deliver comprehensive patient care that aligns with the organizations standards and best practices.
* Provide direct patient care including assessment diagnosis treatment and monitoring of patients health conditions.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
* Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff offering guidance and professional development support.
* Administer medications treatments and therapies as prescribed ensuring the correct procedures are followed.
* Ensure the delivery of compassionate and patientcentered care addressing patients physical and emotional needs.
* Monitor patient progress documenting changes in condition and taking appropriate action when required.
* Ensure adherence to safety infection control protocols and regulatory compliance in all nursing activities.
* Conduct regular audits of nursing practices and recommend improvements to enhance patient care and safety.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care and contribute to treatment planning.
* Educate patients and their families on health management preventive care and lifestyle modifications.
* Ensure effective communication between nursing staff patients families and other healthcare professionals.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in nursing practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Requirements :
* Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) qualifications (Double Qualified).
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing with significant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and support nursing teams.
* Indepth knowledge of nursing practices patient care protocols and healthcare regulations.
* Ability to manage complex patient cases and make sound clinical decisions.
* Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Ability to foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients families and staff.
* Commitment to providing highquality evidencebased care.
* Must be professional wellpresented and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
