Role Summary:
The Business Analyst will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation the successful candidate will gather and analyse requirements define business processes and ensure the successful delivery of highimpact projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand document and prioritise business requirements.
- Analyse and map business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
Project Support:
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives.
- Support the development testing and implementation of systems and processes.
- Monitor project progress and address any challenges or risks.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business units providing insights and recommendations.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and validate solutions.
- Communicate complex information in a clear and accessible manner to diverse audiences.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including requirements specifications process flows and user guides.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and outcomes.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst ideally within largescale infrastructure transportation or technology projects.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
- Experience in requirements gathering process mapping and functional specification development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience with digital transformation or operational technology projects.
- Relevant certification (e.g. CBAP PMIPBA) is an advantage.
