Our client assists property managers with the successful management of repair requests complaints suggestions and questions from their tenants.
From their beautiful office on the canal in Amsterdam they are looking for a Senior Backend Developer / Lead for their rapidly growing team.
About the Position
In this role you will work together with their highly experienced CTO and a team of 5 developers (front and backend) with a focus on backend. This role will soon replace the current lead developer and you will be expected to make arquitectural decisions.
About the Role
You ensure the (technical) performance of the product
You lead a team of 5 developers
You work together with the Product Manager to ensure the success of the product (for example through roadmap planning quality improvement proposing and implementing new processes)
You contribute directly to the product with backend frontend or infrastructure code
You are a good fit if:
You can independently realize new functionalities within the product and the APIs they provide
You can perform code reviews for colleagues in the team
You take care of the technical state of the product propose technical improvements and implement them
You have Team Leader responsibilities such as hiring monitoring and giving feedback to (new) colleagues in the team
You support the individuals in the team to help them grow further
You meet the following requirements:
5 years of experience as a Backend Developer and you have a good understanding of Front End.
5 years of experience with Python Typescript.
Several years of experience with Django and Django Rest.
You have experience with Docker and Git
You can work with public cloud services such as Amazon Web Services or something similar.
You have experience leading a small team.
You are handson
You are proactive and a team player
You speak fluent English Dutch is a plus
You can solve problems well and connect powerful actions to them
