Job Title: Accounts Manager

Location: Rohini Sector 3

Reports to: CFO

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accounts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts department managing the daytoday accounting activities preparing and analysing Management Information Systems (MIS) reports ensuring timely compliance with regulations and implementing best practices in financial management. This role requires strong leadership attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.



Requirements


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:


Oversee all accounting activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.

Manage accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll processes.

Prepare and maintain financial statements budgets and forecasts.


MIS Reporting:

Develop and deliver accurate timely and insightful MIS reports to senior management.

Analyse financial data and present key insights for decisionmaking.

Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts recommending corrective actions when necessary.


Compliance and Audit:

Ensure the company complies with all regulatory requirements including tax filings statutory compliance and financial reporting standards.

Coordinate with external auditors for yearend audits and implement audit recommendations.

Keep up to date with changes in accounting regulations and standards.

Team Management:

Supervise train and develop accounts department staff.

Allocate and oversee daily tasks for the team ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Foster a collaborative and highperformance team environment. Internal Controls:

Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.

Continuously improve accounting processes and systems for efficiency.

Taxation:


Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns (e.g. GST VAT corporate tax).

Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax audits.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


Bachelors or Master s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Chartered Accountant (CA) or similar certification preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting with at least 1 year in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. ZOHO SAP Tally or similar).

Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and MIS reporting.

Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail.

Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Good communication skills both written and verbal.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting.

Knowledge of industryspecific accounting practices (if relevant).

Experience with ERP systems and MIS reporting tools.

Exposure to process improvements and implementing internal controls to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.

4. Taxation & Compliance Experience:

Indepth experience with tax filings (GST income tax VAT) and other statutory filings.

Proven experience in dealing with internal audits and liaising with external auditors for annual financial audits.

5. Software and Tools:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. ZOHO QuickBooks Tally SAP Oracle or other ERP systems).

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including functions for financial analysis and report generation.

Familiarity with MIS tools and dashboard reporting for management.

6. Certifications (Preferred but not Mandatory):

Chartered Accountant (CA) Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or CPA can add significant value.
