Job Description
For a client of ours a global leader in the smart energy technology sector we are looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer to join their engineering R&D team.
Role Overview
As part of the QA team you will be involved throughout the development lifecycle of the companys development team with a focus on planning and execution of test cases for the new features and participation in regression testing. Your daytoday activities will include the creation of test cases testing defect reporting and verification and participation in requirements reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning product features test plans and test descriptions;
- Functional usability and regression test case development;
- Documenting software defects and tracking them through resolution;
- Regular feedback on the status of quality.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in testing complex Web and Client/Server applications;
- Knowledge of test methodologies and techniques;
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban);
- Experience in developing test cases based on requirements;
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Familiarity with version control systems;
- SQL knowledge;
- Fluent English;
- Knowledge of coding languages.
