Destination Marketing Director retail entertainment (retailtainment) mall tourism
Supported by the local government and neighbouring stakeholders this iconic destination is ready to become a topnotch retail and entertainment destination for local shoppers and international tourists. The company is looking for an experienced and visionary leader in the retail / tourism and hospitality industry to drive the success of this premier destination.
You will play a crucial role in promoting the destination as an integral part of Hong Kongs vibrant tourism landscape. Your ability to identify and capitalize on emerging trends and your passion for marketing innovation will be instrumental in continuously enhancing the portfolios appeal and ensuring its ongoing success.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 68 including marketing and partnership event management digital marketing tenant engagement etc.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and sponsorships to support planned promotional programs events and happenings at the portfolio
- Provide strategic guidance to continuously enhance the portfolio experience and address the dynamic needs of this premier Hong Kong attraction
- Lead the marketing and promotional strategy including events social media and website management to drive vibrancy at the portfolio
- Regularly liaise and meet with internal and external stakeholders
- Engage with tenants to foster strong partnerships and collaborations ensuring their needs are met and the overall tenant experience is optimized
- Identify opportunities for tenantdriven initiatives and events to drive footfall and enhance the portfolios appeal
Qualifications
- Degree or above in marketing business management or a related discipline
- Over 10 years of experience with at least 4 years in a managerial role in business development brand partnership tourism event management venue management or related industries
- Selfmotivated creative thinker and detailoriented with a drive to deliver highquality work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problemsolving abilities exceptional time management skills and the capacity to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
- Strategic mindset analytical innovative dynamic and collaborative team player
- Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese Mandarin) and English
