Position title: Mechanical Commodity Manager Plovdiv

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Commodity Manager to join our clients team
Reference Job Description:
- Commodity manager for Mechanical commodities: Capacitors Coils Stamping Forged Machined Springs Fasteners Castings Bellows Magnets.
- Develop and implement regional commodity strategies.
- To provide a strategy on the commodity to lead and coordinate activities in order to implement projects on each site in cooperation with the site buyers.
- Put in place activity to develop projects in accordance to Supply Chain Director guidelines.
- Facilitate the daily purchasing activity consistent with customers / sites requirements.
- Initiate start and implement cost savings projects in order to achieve the Budget target.
- Assist sites with problem resolution on any supply chain related issues.

Experience:
- Typically requires a minimum of 35 years industrial/manufacturing experience in a similar purchasing/supply chain role.
- Past roles in multinational companies and an appreciation of their complexities could be an advantage but is not essential.
- Has lead teams before.
Other Details & Competencies:
At least business proficiency with English and Bulgarian language is mandatory. Italian also an advantage. Must have excellent knowledge in MS Office applications.
