Job Description
Job Overview:
In the Digital Asset Management role you will play an important role in overseeing and securing the organizations digital content involving the management of digital assets implementation of security measures and staying updated on industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital asset management strategies aligned with company goals
- Oversee the organization storage retrieval and distribution of digital assets
- Manage and optimize the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system ensuring ease of use and efficiency
- Create and maintain metadata standards for all digital assets
- Collaborate with various departments to understand and meet their digital asset needs
- Provide training and support to users of the DAM system
- Implement quality control measures for all digital assets
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends including AI applications in DAM
- Propose and implement innovative ideas to improve asset management processes
- Protect digital assets from unauthorized access copying and theft by implementing security measures such as Digital Rights Management (DRM) encryption and access management.
- Conduct regular security audits and updates to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
- Embed watermarks and tracking mechanisms to trace unauthorized sharing.
Requirements:
- 35 years of experience in a similar Digital Asset Management role
- Strong background in the advertising media or creative industry
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently
- Familiarity with current DAM technologies and best practices
- Knowledge of metadata standards and digital media formats
- Experience with AI applications in asset management is a plus
- Ability to generate fresh ideas and innovative solutions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Adaptability to new technologies and industry changes
