Job Description

Our Client is seeking a 14 year associate attorney for a position with our Construction practice group in Nashville. This is a growth position with a clear path toward advancement in the firm. We are seeking an attorney with experience representing owners and developers in complex construction projects from the planning phase through completion in both the transactional and litigation contexts. We are particularly interested in The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:

Construction Disputes: Some experience defending owners and developers in construction disputes and litigation including but without limitation disputes relating to delay claims liens compensation and expenses and quality of work. Courtroom and deposition experience is preferred.

Construction transactions: Experience working on the planning negotiation design and construction phases of complex projects.

Strong academics: Excellent academic credentials. A transcript is required.

Construction background: A prelaw background or previous career in the construction industry is preferred but not required.

Writing skills: Exceptional writing skills and experience in complex legal drafting in both transactional and litigation matters. A writing sample is required.
