Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to our HR team. This role involves managing essential HR functions, including payroll processing, recruitment support, employee record maintenance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:

    • Provide administrative and clerical assistance to HR managers and staff.
    • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and interviews.
    • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations.
    • Maintain and update employee records and filing systems.
  2. Payroll and Benefits Administration:

    • Process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments, deductions, and adjustments.
    • Address and resolve payroll or benefits discrepancies and employee concerns.
  3. Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Post job advertisements and manage candidate applications.
    • Screen resumes, conduct background checks, and support the interview process.
    • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding materials.
    • Facilitate new hire orientation and training sessions.
  4. Employee Relations and Support:

    • Address employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
    • Provide guidance on leave requests, benefits enrollment, and company policies.
  5. HR Projects and Initiatives:

    • Support HR initiatives, including employee engagement, performance management, and employee relations.
    • Participate in HR projects and suggest process improvements.
  6. Compliance and Best Practices:

    • Stay current with HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Ensure HR processes comply with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as an HR assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
