Job Description
Work Location:2100 Meadowvale Blvd Mississauga Ontario CAN L5N 7J9(Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote)
Duration: 4 months
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Tool Developer to enhance and innovate within our engineering tools ecosystem. In this role you will design develop integrate and implement custom solutions adding features and capabilities that streamline and optimize engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop UI components and custom plugins for tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Leverage thirdparty APIs to integrate engineering tools based on defined use cases.
- Define data scope and create effective prompts to achieve desired outputs.
- Enhance the functionality of our internal developer selfservice web portal.
- Identify and define new use cases to improve development processes through automation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience:
- 3 years in application development with proficiency in Java JavaScript REST API HTML and CSS.
- Expertise in developing plugins/addons using Atlassian SDK for JIRA and Confluence.
- Familiarity with Jira Query Language (JQL) Confluence Query Language (CQL) ScriptRunner and Groovy scripting.
- 3 years of experience utilizing REST API documentation for tool integrations.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AIrelated APIs and crafting effective prompts.
- Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
