Job Description
Henry Ford Medical Center Cascade Ridge is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Dermatologist to build a dynamic and collaborative team in Jackson Michigan. This newly renovated medical Center provides a variety of services for men women and children combined with a caring professional staff encourages patients to feel welcome and relaxed.
- Open to TRULY Board Eligible candidates within 1 year of graduation (must become Board Certified within 3 years of graduation)
- Desired start date: As soon as possible with 90 days for credentialing.
- Practice setting: Outpatient and clinic
- Reason for coverage: Reopening the dermatology practice
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. Minimum of 36 direct patient contact hours with 4 hours of administrative time.
- Facilitys trauma level/designation: Level 2.
- Medical and cosmetic services: Dermatology practice focuses on 90% medical and 10% cosmetic dermatology with potential for growth in the cosmetic side if desired.
- High procedure volume: Approximately 80% of patient visits involve procedures ranging from skin tag removals to skin cancer biopsies. Providers typically see 45 patients per hour with 34 involving a procedure.
- Worklife balance: Join a system that promotes and values an excellent worklife balance.
- Documentation system/EMR: EPIC
- Not open to 1099 candidates for this position
- Not open to Locums candidates
- Not open to candidates who have lapsed Board Certification(s) and need to obtain them again
- Not open to providers who want to commute long distances (more than 1 hour) and/or in conjunction with another job(s)
- Open to H1B visa candidates but cannot accept J1 visa candidates

Requirement description :

- TRULY Board Eligible (to become BC within 3 years of graduation) or Board Certified in Dermatology REQUIRED
- MI license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
- BLS (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
- DEA (or able to obtain) REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice and License History REQUIRED
- Flu vaccine REQUIRED
- Does the provider require visa support J1 or H1B (note in Additional Submission Details field) REQUIRED
