Job Description
Henry Ford Jackson Hospital (HFHJ) a proud partner of Henry Ford Health System since 2016 is seeking a BoardCertified/BoardEligible Urologist to join our esteemed team in Jackson Michigan. Located just 77 miles west of Detroit our facility is known for its quality innovation and the remarkable care we deliver to the Jackson community.
Job Description:
- Accepting candidates who are TRULY Board Eligible (to become BC within 6 months) or Board Certified in Urology
- Reason for coverage: Growth
- Desired start date: ASAP with an approximate 90day credentialing process
- Schedule to include outpatient inpatient rounds and clinic
- Collaborative call rotation: 1:4 for sustainable worklife balance (to include some weekends)
- Surgical and clinic schedule: Two dedicated OR days per week 2.5 days in clinic.
- Providers typically see 22 patients daily including two new patients.
- 7080 patients per day through the clinic.
- Facility trauma level/designation: Level 2.
- Stateoftheart facilities: Convenient clinic location minutes from the hospital.
- Skilled support staff: Includes Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs) five Medical Assistants (MAs) and front office staff.
- Onsite procedures: Equipment for disposable cystoscopies vasectomies BCG and Gemzar instillation Uroflow and urodynamic studies and prostate biopsies.
- Streamlined consults: Only one hospital to consult minimizing travel and simplifying workflow.
- Focus on patient care: Highly collegial medical and administrative team ensures support for meaningful patient interactions.

Conditions of Employment:

- BLS ACLS (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
- DEA (or able to obtain) REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice and License History REQUIRED
- Does the provider require visa support J1 or H1B (note in Additional Submission Details field) REQUIRED
