JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking Employment and Labor Law Attorney experience to join our dynamic team in our Florham Park office. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert counsel on a wide range of employment and labour law issues including hiring practices employee benefits workplace discrimination harassment terminations and other compliance matters.
- Draft review and negotiate employmentrelated agreements policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legal standards and mitigating potential legal risks.
- Advise on internal investigations related to employee complaints discrimination harassment or disciplinary actions and recommend effective solutions.
- Ensure clients adherence to federal state and local employment laws and regulations to minimize disputes claims and litigation risks.
- Assist in all aspects of employmentrelated litigation including case assessment strategy development discovery and trial preparation.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to develop and deliver training programs to clients focusing on compliance with labour laws employee relations and best practices.
- Represent clients in labour and employmentrelated disputes including administrative proceedings arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal research to stay informed of evolving employment laws providing wellsupported recommendations and guidance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in employment and labour law with a strong background in civil litigation.
- Admission to the New Jersey and/or New York Bar required; Pennsylvania Bar is a plus.
- Strong research writing and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to think critically and provide proactive solutions to complex employment law issues.
- Selfmotivated with a strong desire to take initiative and contribute to team success.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proven experience in managing or assisting with litigation in the areas of employment law including familiarity with arbitration and administrative proceedings.
