Job Description
Job role: Sr. Data Engineer/ Lead Snowflake
Location: Brookfield Bangalore.
Experience: 12 years
Job Summary: Sr. Data Engineer/ Lead Snowflake
We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer specializing in Snowflake to design implement and optimize data solutions using the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud data data modelling DBT and data warehousing with a deep understanding of Snowflakes capabilities and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage data models schemas and pipelines in Snowflake.
Handson experience building and implementing data engineering pipelines and frameworks.
Optimize performance of Snowflake data warehouse and troubleshoot any issues.
Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Engage in Data migrations and modernization efforts.
Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Provide guidance and best practices on Snowflake usage and data management.
Collaborate with data engineers analysts and other IT professionals to integrate Snowflake with other systems.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts ETL processes and data modelling.
Ability to do reverse reengineering (business logic/queries) of SQL Server Stored procedures/ SSIS packages/code to DBT on Snowflake.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with other programming languages (e.g. Python Java).
Familiarity with cloud platform of Azure and their integration with Snowflake.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Relevant years of experience:
Minimum 12 years of IT experience in Data background.
Minimum 4 years handson experience with Snowflake.
Candidate who is currently handson and experience in driving data engineering projects.
12 years of DBT building DBT models and converting SQL server store procedures to DBT models.
Snowflake migration experience (preferably SQL Server to Snowflake).
Experience in Five Tran is preferred.
Can lead Snowflake developers and engineers.
Key Skills required: Strong data background Snowflake DBT SSIS and data modelling
