- Leadership and Strategy: Guide the development of Connect Counselling s mission policies and strategic plans while providing insights and recommendations to the Board and team.
- Operations Management: Oversee daytoday operations administration and facility management creating policies and processes to achieve goals effectively.
- Human Resources Management: Foster a positive organizational culture manage HR functions and oversee recruitment to build a strong valuesaligned team.
- Risk Management: Implement risk management policies to protect the organization employees and volunteers while ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage annual budgets lead fundraising initiatives negotiate contracts and ensure sound financial controls.
- Quality Management: Oversee program contracts monitor performance and ensure efficient execution of projects by employees and vendors.
- Community & Provincial Engagement: Build relationships with key stakeholders including government officials funders and community groups while promoting the organization s services and mission.
Requirements
- A Master s degree in Psychology Social Work Behavioral Sciences or Business Administration is preferred.
- Experience in community social services nonprofit leadership and knowledge of communitybased programs and funding sources.
- Proven success in targeted fundraising efforts resource development and grant writing.
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting financial monitoring and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated leadership in program management mentorship and team development.
- Experience working with a Governance Board to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Knowledge of clinical support services is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with relevant software such as JANE.
- Exceptional decisionmaking and crisis management abilities.
