Job Description
The salary is $2726.00 per week for a 13week period.
The job is at MRH Rehab a rural clinic in Craig CO.
The clinic provides treatment for a variety of conditions including pediatrics geriatrics orthopedics postop sports medicine vestibular/concussion and longterm neurological conditions.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with no overtime.
The position is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who will primarily work with outpatient pediatrics outpatient adults and some subacute inpatient coverage.
The SLP will also conduct modified barium swallow studies.
The SLPs role will include providing diagnostic and therapeutic services patient/family education and appropriate referrals to patients exhibiting a speech language or swallowing disorder.
The SLP is expected to maintain quality care for all patients through a coordinated comprehensive multidisciplinary approach.
The SLP will also be responsible for patient evaluation/ assessment establishing and implementing a plan of care assessing effectiveness of and modifying treatment to ensure goal achievement and educating patients/caregivers.
The SLP will need to have a BLS certification and a CO License or Compact License.
The SLP will need to have a current Certificate of Clinical Competence granted by the American Speech Language Hearing Association in Speech Language Pathology (CCCSLP).
Other duties may include working in a schoolbased setting to help carry out Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or providing inhome speech therapy services to homebound patients.
